So I write this post under the assumption that you have grown out of the email help desk system. In case you are wondering what that is – when you use MS Outlook or Gmail to access all your mails from your users, that is called an email help desk system. And if you are really wondering that and said, “Hey, I do that!”, you need to start looking at options. There is a different world out there.

So how does a company or anybody go about selecting their help desk software? Do they look at features? Do they look at price? Brands? ITIL? Of course, I understand that all these come into play, depending on your needs.

Let’s say I have a budget to buy a help desk software in the next 3-6 months, what should I be considering? Why I ask this question is because I am working on a some sort of criteria that can be used by end users (Help Desk Managers or CIOs) to make that choice. Should there be one for every industry or vertical?

Thanks in advance!

If you are a Service Manager or CIO looking for a help desk system, we will list the different options you have out there and help you make the right choices – or point you in the right direction. The decision, of course, is finally yours.

If you are a vendor, we will help you get your word out – reach out to your target audience. Every vendor has a speciality – a differentiation and we understand. Help us help you by giving pertinent information about your company and your product. We will be hosting a form soon so you can submit your details to us.

So you may be wondering, why the heck do we need another website that talks about help desk software? We asked that ourselves. But the truth is that the choices out there are huge. And everyone needs a helpdesk in one form or another. But there really is no source of information that gives a neutral point of view. In some way or another, everybody’s information is influenced.

LiveHelpDesks.com wants to be different. We vouch never to be influenced by any vendor or single school of thought. We intend to provide unbiased information. Quality information that will make lives easier. Maybe, even make the world a better place.

Anyways, thanks for stopping by today. Please do come by again. I hope to work on this site quite often and keep all of you updated.

Thanks
