Data Center in a box – Google Container Data Center Tour

Posted 9 April 2009 by Matt One Comment

I have always been impressed with Google’s data centers. Here’s a video tour of their “data center in a container” facility. Pretty cool! This is where our Gmail messages are stored.

Cool data center … more important, I need my gmail user name in order to retrieve stored contacts from my droid phone. I don’t remember the user name set up by the cell rep that sold me the phone. It was purchased by me through Verizon Wireless and the rep never indicated the importance of knowing the gmail username and password in the event the phone breaks or is lost. I have exhausted all google online suggestions to find out what my username is.

CAN YOU HELP? Or, can you point me in the correct direction of contacting someone live (on the phone or via an e-mail address)???

Thanks in advance for whatever assistance you can offer!
